Walk to Riverwalk | Luxury Downtown Apt | King Bed

The location of this unit is very convenient to downtown, Riverwalk, etc. The unit itself and the complex it is in was extremely disappointing. The main problem is the cleanliness of both the unit and the complex. There was mold growing in the caulk in the shower and the bathroom was just dirty. The caulk around the toilet was almost all coming up and the baseboards were filthy. The whole apartment needs painting and a thorough cleaning from top to bottom. There were cobwebs all around the pendent lights above the kitchen island and the carpet in the bedroom was stained and dirty. I wouldn't even walk around the unit without shoes on. The complex itself is not being maintained and there was a used condom on the floor in the stairwell. Gross!!! The first morning we were there, two obvious prostitutes were leaving the unit two doors down early in the morning when I was headed out for a walk. The hallway smells like trash and the hallway carpet is filthy. We also had an issue with the key code not working on the door that goes out to the street, so we had to work with the owner to get an actual key out of a key box. There were two of us staying in the unit, but only one key card was provided so it made it difficult. We were very disappointed in this experience and ended up leaving two days early because we just couldn't stay here any longer. We stay in VRBO properties all the time and have never had this kind of experience.

We had a great week's stay at this property. Loved the location and ability to park our car in the garage (no extra cost) and walk so many places in San Antonio. The unit was exactly as advertised - no unpleasant surprises - just a nice comfortable apartment. San Antonio has much to offer - we went to all the usual tourist places but also recommend the Pearl area and Camp Hot Wells, where we soaked in mineral water in old-time bathtubs and drank really nice wine. Coming from the Midwest, the weather was a big improvement, although not yet warm enough to enjoy the pool and outdoor areas of the building. The owner provided very detailed information and we were able to follow the instructions for check-in and out.

The property was close to my work location and made it easy to get and back forth. Richie was great and very responsive. The apartment was a little weathered but nothing bad. It could use just a little attention to the spider webs under the cabinets. Overall, not a bad place to stay is you're looking for a home away from home on a work trip.

Great location, if the weather hadn't been cold,I would have walked to a lot of places. Close to lots of restaurants and shopping. Really cute apartment with a mini HEB grocery right across the street.i would stay here again. Shout out to the management company who was quick to help when I locked the fob to get in the building in the apartment.
